Thoughts During the Run
Don’t be too rough with yourself.
Admit that you’re softer than you used to let the world see.
There’s nothing weak about that. It just means you’re alive to your own experience.
Move with the current, not against it.
The healing you’re looking for is already underway—quiet, steady, subtle.
You already have the people, the places, the resources you need.
You are not starting from empty hands.
Starting fresh can feel impossible.
Like the odds are arranged against you.
We make a plan—and life shifts it.
People say God laughs.
But maybe God is just asking,
“Will you keep going, even when the path turns?”
Sometimes the questions people ask—
the ones that poke at the soft parts—
aren’t meant to discourage you.
They’re reminders that someone sees you.
That someone is paying attention.
When you move, you’ll stir up dust.
That’s just how movement works.
The real test is whether you can stay with your process
long enough to see what becomes clear once the dust settles.
Can you quiet the noise?
Can you stay close to your original vision?
The opposition I feel right now isn’t here to stop me.
It’s a gentle nudge to breathe.
To not clench.
To not rush.
To trust the pace.
Sometimes the universe gives a small push forward—
but if you’re tense, you’ll miss it.
Support is real. But you don’t always need as much of it as you think.
There was a time when I thought I needed everyone’s reassurance.
But now I understand:
The voice I needed the most is my own.
Note to Self:
You are capable.
You always were.
Just steady your inner dialogue—and the rest will come.
